  • All Terrain Vehicle ride (1, 2 or 3-4 hour ride)
  • The Blue Lagoon

Tour Description:

Join us on an exciting ATV ride on the Reykjanes peninsula. We offer one, two or three to four hour ATV rides. The tour price is calculated with 2 people sharing an ATV. You can also have an ATV of your own by paying a small per person surcharge. Please see further details below.

An action filled tour offering both great views and excitement driving in rough terrain. We will provide you with the necessary gloves, helmets and overalls.

After an action packed adventure, relax in the milky blue waters of the Blue Lagoon and enjoy the amenities the Blue Lagoon has to offer. Please note that the bathing fee to the Blue Lagoon is not included in our price. Massages and other treatments at the Blue Lagoon can be booked seperately directly at the Blue Lagoon.

Alternatively you can enjoy the area by walking around, having a delicious meal at one of the restaurants or checking out the Blue Lagoon shop.

Departures to Reykjavík are at 12:00, 15:00, 17:15, 19:00 and 21:00. Transfer time to Reykjavík is about 50 minutes.

Pricing:
Prices shown are per person prices. They are calculated with 2 persons sharing an ATV. Should you book alone or if you would like to have an ATV to yourself, an additional "one person per ATV" charge applies. This extra charge differs according to the lenght of the ATV ride chosen. The different prices are shown when you make your booking.

ATVing in Iceland was AMAZING! We were surprised that more people werent on our excursion. Our guide (AJ) took us on some really good trails and we got pretty high up where we got some great photos. The Gray Line bus took us from downtown Reykjavik to the Blue Lagoon at which point we were picked up by AJ and then dropped back off at the Lagoon at the end of our excursion. We then went to the Lagoon for a relaxing afternoon. The only thing I would have liked is: AJs car (who was with an independent company teamed up with Gray Line) should have had a company logo or similar so we know that were going off with someone from a company - it kind of felt like we were getting into a random strangers car in the middle of a foreign land. It turned out fine, AJs was awesome and we had a good time once again but it would have been good for comfort purposes. Im also pleased to know that Gray Line teamed up with a local business.  --- Iceland Excursions: --- Thank you for your review and comments on the ATV tour. So glad you enjoyed your tour. We have been working in partnership with the ATV tour operators near the Blue Lagoon for some time now and have absolute confidence in their operations. They collect our passengers from the Blue Lagoon bus and take them to the nearby town of Grindavik where everyone gets into gear in preparation for the ATV drive. It must have been one of their private cars picking you up that day and not marked with company logo and as before we have full trust in what they do and our bus drivers at the Blue Lagoon certainly know who to expect and will not deliver our passengers to any strangers. We will of course mention this if there is a need to use vehicles other than marked that they print out a sign to at least put in the window.

FANTASTIC : Myself, my 21 year old daughter, her 22 year old boyfriend and 19 year old son went and we had the most fantastic time on this 3 hour ATV and blue lagoon tour. The ATV tour included driving over snow, lava fields, volcanic ash, roads, through muddy puddles. We stopped at various attractions and took pictures. We had hot chocolate and the most yummy icelandic biscuits supplied ,which went down very well. The Blue Lagoon is out of this world. We spent almost three hours in the lagoon. We all loved every part of this tour and would recommend it without any hesitation.

Really enjoyed the day and it was good to combine two very different activities into one package. It was our favourite trip of our stay in Iceland.

This was a total blast! I think the only thing that might have improved the ride for people like me who've never been on an ATV before, would be a little practice run. Something on a rocky flat field so I would learn how to negotiate rocks before getting on a trail (and becoming the slow person in the group). Just a thought!
