The International Airport in Keflavik is located in the middle of lava fields on the Reykjanes Peninsula. It takes about 50 minutes to drive to the city of Reykjavik and about 20 minutes to reach the Blue Lagoon spa. All international flights arrive and depart from Keflavik. Please be aware that you need to leave Reykjavik about 3 hours prior to your departing flight in order to reach the airport on time to check in for your flight.
