The Insurance Company of Iceland Excursions – Gray Line Iceland, Sjóvá, one of Iceland´s big Insurance Companies, in cooperation with the Sjóvá Safety House gave Iceland Excursions – Gray Line Iceland a number of child safety seats made by Britax to add to the safety of children in their fleet of busses and to meet the increased need for the use of child safety seats in automobiles of all kinds.
According to the spokesperson of the Insurance Company Iceland Excursions – Gray Line Iceland has shown its will to increase the safety of its youngest passengers by offering car safety seats for this group of passengers. “The company has offered its customers car safety seats throughout the last few years at no extra charge, but the new seats are a lot more convenient as they fit for both 3-point and 2-point safety belts and can therefore easily be moved between cars.”
According to Thorir Gardarson, Sales and Marketing Director of Iceland Excursions – Gray Line Iceland, the company has offered this service to its youngest passengers since 2001 and it has been very well taken. “Foreign travel agents and parents have mentioned that no similar service is offered in other countries of the world, let alone at no extra charge. We are proud to be able to offer first class security to all our customers.”
The Sjóvá Safety House will teach the drivers to use the safety seats to assure that they are used correctly.
